Step 1: Pre-Operation Inspection

Before starting, check the forklift for visible damage. Verify tire condition, fluid levels (hydraulic, brake, coolant), and battery charge. Ensure forks are intact and the mast moves smoothly. Test brakes, horn, steering, and lights. Report any defects immediately.

Step 2: Starting the Forklift

Sit in the operator seat, fasten seatbelt, and adjust mirrors. Turn key to "ON" position, then press the start button. Wait for system self-check. Ensure the parking brake is engaged before moving.

Step 3: Safe Driving

Keep both hands on the steering wheel. Travel with forks lowered 4–6 inches above ground. Maintain a safe speed, especially on turns and ramps. Sound horn at intersections and blind spots. Never carry passengers.

Step 4: Lifting and Moving Loads

Approach load centrally. Tilt mast slightly back. Insert forks fully under the load. Lift the load gently, then tilt back for stability. Keep load low while traveling. When stacking, raise forks to required height, tilt forward slightly, and place load steadily.

Step 5: Parking and Shutdown
