Walkie pallet trucks are widely used in warehouse, logistics distribution center and retail store material handling scenarios, and their operation stability is directly related to work efficiency, cargo safety and operator personal safety. Among all factors affecting the stable operation of walkie pallet trucks, ground condition is one of the core premises that cannot be ignored.
First of all, the flatness of the operation ground must meet the usage standard. Ground with local height difference over 20mm, obvious potholes, raised floor tiles or unconnected expansion joints may cause the loaded walkie pallet truck to tilt, shake violently or even tip over during driving. Operators should conduct a preliminary inspection of the operation area before starting work, and mark or isolate areas with serious flatness problems to avoid entering by mistake.
Secondly, the load bearing capacity of the ground should match the total weight of the fully loaded walkie pallet truck. Especially for the operation areas on the upper floors of multi-storey warehouses, it is necessary to confirm the ground load bearing index in advance, to avoid problems such as ground cracking or even collapse caused by long-term overloading of the ground.
Thirdly, the ground friction coefficient should be within the reasonable range. Ground covered with water, oil, wax layer or scattered plastic packaging debris will greatly reduce the friction between the pallet truck wheels and the ground, leading to longer braking distance, slipping and even out-of-control problems during driving. Operators should clean up the sundries and dirt on the operation ground in time, and take anti-skid measures for areas with too low friction coefficient before starting operation.
Fourthly, the slope of the operation ground shall not exceed the specified range. In general, the maximum uphill slope for fully loaded walkie pallet trucks shall not exceed 5%, and the maximum downhill slope shall not exceed 3%. It is forbidden to operate on slopes beyond the specified range, and operators should control the driving speed when going up and down slopes, avoiding sudden braking or sharp turning.
In recent years, new energy walkie pallet trucks are gradually replacing traditional fuel-powered models for their advantages of low emission, low noise and high operation efficiency. Jianshu New Energy has long been committed to promoting the application of new energy material handling equipment in various industrial scenarios, and has accumulated rich practical experience in equipment adaptation to different operation environments. BYD Forklift's new energy walkie pallet truck series are designed with optimized chassis structure and intelligent anti-slip control system, which can better adapt to qualified operation ground and further improve the stability and safety of daily operation.
